  11. These are not examples of Passive RP, these are Event Samples. Passive RP is optional Roleplay that gives players a lot more control over the outcome of the scenario. A simple example would be a supply ship requesting to dock with our ship to off-load medical supplies. Inexperienced Event Masters will usually have 'infection' events or droids hiding in something that proceed to attack Troopers and classify that as Passive RP, it's not Passive RP. Passive RP isn't designed to be a huge thriller or an action packed event, its designed to show a dynamic role-play where mundane and regular situations occur but it none-the-less immerses those invovled and can give regiments/players something to role-play and interact with. If your Passive RP forces players into roleplay or combat then it's an Event. Your reputation alone speaks novels for your aptitude and ability as an Event Master and it's been very pleasing watching you grow from that sweet little flower that applied for EM on Fade Gaming to an experienced and hardened Event Master, Goodluck.
  12. By far it was when this idiot said:
  13. Republic Commandos Republic Commandos are a 6-man combat unit that will operate within the Special Operations Brigade (SOB) alongside the ARC Troopers. Republic Commandos will be 1 of 2 elite regiments on server launch. Being elite, Republic Commandos are authorised better armour, equipment and more operational freedom comparative to a standard regiment. Because of this, Republic Commandos are required to meet a high standard, a standard that I am expected to maintain; a standard that I will expect my Troopers to maintain. The reason I am making this post is two-fold. To clarify any questions, confusion and rumours that I have been asked and to allow for anyone to easily access the structure and organisation of RC. To this end, this post will cover the majority of topics regarding my regiment. Also note that the content in this post, especially regarding equipment is subject to being altered before server launch. Unit Composition: Republic Commandos operate using an extremely condensed command structure. RC do not report to a specific General for instructions or orders. Instead, Commandos will take their orders directly from the CO and the CO will be given assignments and missions from any individuals in Army/Navy Command. This is designed to support the internal rank structure of RC. Republic Commandos will not exert any control or orders to Republic Personnel and vice versa. Republic Commandos will comprise of 1 Commanding Officer and 5 Troopers. Depending on performance and demand RC may have its slots increased to 7/8 post-launch. Unlike most regiments, Republic Commandos will not have a 2IC, 3IC etc. This is because Republic Commandos operate a smaller and refined structure where the Command duties can be handled efficiently by 1 person and all the Troopers within the regiment will coordinate effectively with or without the CO present. Internal Structure: Being apart of the Special Operations Brigade, Republic Commandos are classified as Special Forces. This entitles the regiment to a separate rank-structure to operate effectively. These rank are: Brevet: The trial/initiate rank of Republic Commandos. Being a Brevet identifies that you have passed RC Tryouts but have not completed your Evaluation/Training. Sergeant: The standard rank of Republic Commandos. This identifies a fully trained and qualified Commando. Corpsman: Identifies a veteran-sergeant within Republic Commandos. Usually, this rank will signify that a Commando can perform above and beyond their standard duties. Decider: Given out to Republic Commandos who have consistently proven their dedication and loyalty over a long tenure. Deciders must pass a unique evaluation. One of the hardest ranks you could achieve. Commander: Given to the CO of Republic Commandos. Equipment: Republic Commandos are given a significant kit in order to complete any mission or assignment given. The standard (Sergeant) Republic Commando will be equipped with: HP: 225 Armour: 50 Primary: DC-17m Blaster Rifle Secondary: DC-15s Side Arm Specialised: Thermal Imaging Visors (Note this is subject to change) Recruitment: I'm certain this will be the most relevant topic of this post. With that being said Republic Commandos will recruit through 2 methods: Tryouts: This is the most simple and linear method of joining Republic Commandos. This involves a group of Troopers lining up and participating in a standard Tryout format. It should also be noted that Republic Commando Tryouts are will be rare and far in-between. The only confirmed RC Tryouts will be Day 1 on Server Launch. Commendation: This method is an experimental format of recruiting and is far more complex than simple Tryouts. If a Trooper is very intent on joining Republic Commandos and/or missed RC Tryouts they may be able to join through this method. This involves a simple recomendation method. Get 3 Military Commanders to directly message the CO vouching for your skill, discipline/maturity and your dedication. (Note that doesn't mean "[NAME] is a good active Trooper, I vouch for him", have the CO include detail and examples of your skill). I decided this was a good alternative to Tryouts as I cannot expect all potential recruits to be present in tryouts and it also allows for those individuals who wish to 'stick out' to do so. After getting 3 commendations, I will interview and trial you if deemed neccessary. I should also mention this is the only method in which you can join Republic Commandos prior to server launch. As mentioned before, anyone passing Tryouts/Commendations will be subject to a 1-week observation that will end with a final evaluation at the end of the week. Those looking to join Republic Commandos should be proficient in Combat, Tactics, Discipline and Climb SWEP. Joining Conditions: There is also a preliminary condition that all potential recruits must meet if they wish to join RC. Potential Recruits must: - Have 0 Bans - Have less than 2 Warnings - Have less than 5 Arrests - Be able and willing to use Discord for Regiment Communications - Have a microphone and be able and willing to use it - Be able to maintain 14+ hours of activity per week. - Understand and accept that if they join RC and leave they will be set back to PVT. Thank you for reading. I hope this clears up a bit of the questions that I get repeatedly asked.
  14. You haven't provided any examples of Passive RP, you've provided 4 Event Samples. The 'rule-of-thumb' for Passive RP is that if it forces players into the roleplay or involves combat then it is not Passive RP, its an event. It also seems as though the majority of feed-back on your application stems from your lack of Event planning, if you want a simple template to help you structure your events refer to the comment I left on Storm's application: It's important that you are able to clearly show your internal thoughts and progression for Events and I find that planning an Event as if you're planning a story can help greatly. Goodluck.
