  1. Please close this application. No longer interested in staffing.
  2. I'm more of a vego type of guy
  3. Yea look he's alright. Dealt with him a couple of times, doesn't shut up, but does good events +dwan
  4. "He's dead, Jim!" Oh wait shit wrong series
  5. Day 1: .... Day 2: .... Day 3: .... Day 4: .... Day 5: Hear me out right, Bump?
  6. The same could be said about someone putting just -1. This is merely just to replace people making a post with just +1 or -1 to using the upvote or downvote button. It's not saying you can't leave criticism
  7. Few suggetions that I think would help the forums run and look a little smoother Rather than having 15 people +1ing on an application, enforce the use of the up vote and downvote buttons. If you want to give constructive feedback go right ahead, but I feel as if it's pretty useless saying "+1" and that's it. This could relate to a minimum word count for posts Also put a limit on signature size, I run most sites on 80% zoom yet a single signature still takes up 18.4% of the page. 28.7% on 100% zoom (Yes I did the maths)
  8. Steam Name: PetiteBob SteamID: STEAM_0:1:60082577 Steam Profile Link: Discord Tag: Bob#6877 Are you apart of the Fractal Gaming Discord? Yes Ingame Name: I am currently unsure what my ingame name will be, will fill this when the server is live Ingame Rank & Regiment: I am unsure what regiment I will be joining, will fill this when the server is live Ingame Playtime (UTime): As the server is not online I am unable to answer this question. Do you have and actively use a microphone?: Yes & Yes Have you ever received a warn, kick, or ban? If so, explain the situation: Not that I can recall Why do you want to become a Moderator? All, in short, I want to help the server. I have watched a lot of my homes fall due to bad policy and giving the wrong people power. Really the main thing is that I am loyal. I do what I can for the better of the community. Along with this, I've experienced countless times where the staff are overworked or just outright not on the server to help out. As well with my extensive staff experience, I do believe I have the ability to further improve the staff's performance and overall efficiency. I am ready to do more and I feel like I would be of better use to the community as a Staff Member Why should you be accepted into the Moderation Team? I'm not one to toot my own horn and to be frank I don't think anything really makes me stand out from other applicants. Everyone here excels in their own way, some may be the way they compose themselves towards others in formal situations, others could be their vast RP knowledge and their ability to pinpoint situations that may affect others experience. I'd like to think I'm a mix of them all. I've got experience in professional occupations and have been labeled as a mature person when the time calls for it and a mate when the situation calls for that too. If I can lighten one person day, I feel like I've achieved a goal. I'm not here to be a social climber or to be the next manager. I just want to put myself forward and help out. Do you have any prior experience as a Moderator? (If so, list your experience and time served) I've had a considerable amount of experience with Garry's Mod community. DARKRP / SANTOS: First and Foremost, being the Manager of Australia's largest Santos Rp community, GGS.SX. Within my time at GGS I dedicated myself over 3 months rising from Trial Moderator to Manager. Dealing with situations such as false DMCA cases and false PayPal chargebacks. Within GGS, I also acted as our first line of liaison for our counterpart American server. Ensuring both communities integrated without a hitch. Along with GGS, I was also apart of AU-GN, at the time one of Australia's largest DarkRP and once again Santos RP communities. I was a Senior Admin on their DarkRP server that was maxing out at 70 players a day and Manager of their Santos Division. SWRP: I was the former Server Manager and Forums Manager of Galactic Gaming Star Wars RP. Along with this, it might be worth while mentioning the sever everyone knows me from, The Museum. During my time at TM I managed one of the largest Australian SWRP servers at the time, peaking at 75 players for a considerable time. Looking after a staff, event and development team of 20 personnel. Along with the above, it might be worthwhile to mention that at work I have undertaken the (Internal) role as SMSF Audit Supervisor, in my position I look after 3 fellow SMSF Auditors and help with base level reviews. How proficient are you with ULX? In all of the above mentioned communities, I have used ULX to staff. So I’d say I’m pretty proficient. Provide two examples of situations where you either acted to resolve a situation, or were involved in a situation which could have been improved by your being a moderator. This situation lead to my recent promotion at work. For a bit of backstory, I currently work for a mid tier accounting firm as an Auditor specialising in Self managed super funds (SMSF) and Risk assessment. Unfortunately, one of my co workers was completing his end of financial year billing and overbilled $35,000 to our clients. I immediately acted and worked together with my manager and one of our signing partners to setup a spreadsheet and relevant slack integration to help manage our billing. This has since provided affective and has significantly increase our workflow. Another example is related to the division and separation that I currently face at work. Some of you might be aware of what an Auditor is and others may not. The basis of my work revolves around the compliance of Accountants in a financial and legal aspect. As I work for a mid tier firm, a significant amount of the clients I work with on a day to day basis also come to the same firm for accounting needs. So one would assume that this would lead to a lot of inter department communication, right? Unfortunately this is far from the case. So along with my updated billing system I have put in place, I am also working with the SMSF Business Services Supervisor to help improve communications between our departments. The above examples are purely from a professional aspect, if you wish me to upload ones that relate to Garry’s mod and staffing, please let me know. Do you understand that as a staff member you represent Fractal Gaming as a community and as such are expected and required to follow a set of rules and procedures should you be accepted?
